Pacemaker Donations for dogs
The NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine has contacted NCFDA seeking used pacemakers. The patients are usually older dogs, but healthy dogs who are often in need of pacemaker implantation due to pathologic slow heart rhythms that can make them faint or put them at risk of sudden death. The surgery would not be affordable for most clients, if the school had to buy new pacemakers. Your donation means very much to the vet school and can mean a extended life for a much loved pet. Please let the school know you received the information from NCFDA.
